2026 FN50 Dinner Comedian - To be announced shortly

Our 2025 FN50 comedian was Scott Bennett. 

Scott is a stand-up comedian and writer who began performing in 2009 and has since built a rapidly rising career. His shows Leap Year and Relax were nominated for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival, and he was named a Chortle “One to Watch” in 2018 and 2019. His debut hour About a Roy was nominated for the Amused Moose Comedy Award and listed among the top ten shows at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2015. He recorded his debut appearance on Live at the Apollo in 2021 and regularly appears on BBC Radio 4 programmes including The News Quiz and The Now Show. During the 2020 lockdown he created the viral live-streamed show Stand Up from the Shed, gaining national media coverage, and later that year was voted “Best Act” at the Comics’ Comic Awards. He has supported major comedians including Rob Brydon, Jason Manford and John Bishop, written for television and radio (including BBC One’s Little Mix: The Search and The Chris Ramsey Show), and had his comedy short films selected for international festivals.
